providing too specific details.
Affiliate program “A” may not be offering that free 30-day trial
offer any longer longer. OR the price for admission to that special
site may not always be $29.95.
And that site that was “just released last week” may have become an
all-time classic by the time Bob or Mary reads your viral ebook two
years after it was originally released.
So, you want to make certain that you stay away from information that
is too specific that can easily become irrelevant and make you lose
credibility down the road.
I used to get emails complaining about inconsistent prices because
I had put a price for a product into one of my early viral ebooks
and that price is not valid today – and it hasn’t been for a couple
of years! I even got an ugly email accusing me of fraud and
false advertising because of that mistake.
